{Grilled} Personal Pan Pizza

Have you ever had grilled pizza?  As in cooking your pizza on your grill outside?  Mmm...it is soo good!!  We have it a lot over in the summer over at the pool party!  They usually get some Papa Murphy's Take 'N Bake's and throw them on the Traeger.  When you grill it, it gives it the best flavor, especially if you have a Traeger or grill similar to that.  We don't have a Traeger, just a simple Weber propane grill that we use all the time.

Earlier this week I was craving some grilled pizza, so I picked up some of the personal pan sized premade crusts (yes you can use premade, works just fine!), pizza sauce, cheese, and some other toppings.  The pizza crusts come 3 to a pack, so I made 6 little pizza's.  There were plenty for 2 of us, plus had a lot leftover for the next day.  It was really nice, because we had different kinds of pizza to choose from: Italian Sausage, Italian Sausage with Jalapeno (D's fav!), Turkey Pepperoni (my fav!), and Combo Sausage & Turkey Pepperoni. This was really easy and super yummy that I had to share!  And not to mention you don't have to heat up your house by turning on the oven...even better!

Ingredients:
Personal Pan sized pizza crust (we used mama mary's)
Pizza Sause (we used mama mary's)
Italian Blend Cheese (I ran out of Italian Blend so I used cheddar on the Turkey Pepperoni pizza's)
Favorite Toppings (we did italian sausage, turkey pepperoni, cheese)
Garlic Powder
Garlic Salt
Italian Seasoning
Cooking Spray

1.) Spray cooking spray on top of crust and sprinkle lightly with Garlic Powder

2.) Preheat grill, turn down to medium heat.
Place crusts top down on the grill for 3-5 minutes,
and spray the bottoms with cooking spray and a little garlic powder.
Turn the crusts over, for anothe 3-5 minutes.
You just want them to brown a little bit.

what the top of the crust looks like after a few minutes on the grill.

3.) Load the crusts up with your favorite topping...
sauce first, toppings (pepperoni, sausage, jalapeno's, etc), then cheese.
Sprinkle pizza with a little garlic salt, and italian seasoning.
4.) Put pizza's on grill for another 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted.

5.) Slice your pizza's up and eat!

Mmm...cheesy!

What are your favorite toppings for pizza?  Do you like Jalapeno's on yours?  We do!

Oh man, I had a great thought...it would be even better to make some Pulled Pork Pizza on the grill!!! Mmmm.... :)

Notes: When you pregrill your crusts, they just need to lightly brown since they will go back on once you put the toppings on.  When the pizza is ready for it's final grill, be sure to watch the crusts so they don't burn.  Our grill was hotter in one place than the other, and it burnt one of the pizza's!

Bite-sized Taco Cups

I'm sure you've seen these all over Pinterest, because I know I have!!  I pinned these awhile back to make, and finally last weekend I made them to take over to a pool party.  They were a hit, and so yummy!!  And not even to mention very easy to make...now that's my kind of appetizer!  So thank you Ginnerobot for posting these on your flikr account!

I found out that 1lb of hamburger will make 24 taco cups, which was plenty for the amount of people at the pool party.  However, there weren't any left, because we loved them sooo much!! :)

Ingredients:
1lb hamburger, browned & drained
1 packet taco seasoning (I used McCormick's 30% less sodium)
water for taco seasoning (stated on packet)
Wonton wrappers (at least 24 for 1lb of hamburger)
Shredded Taco Cheese blend
Toppings: Sour Cream, Lettuce, & Salsa (optional)

Directions:
1. Brown up hamburger, and drain.
2. Add in taco seasoning mix, along with the water, and cook as directed on taco seasoning packet.
3. Preheat oven to 350* and light spray mini muffin pan.
4. Place wonton wrapper into mini muffin pan, spoon in taco meat, and top with cheddar cheese.
5. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes. The wonton wrappers will be slightly crispy.
6. Top with a little lettuce, sour cream, and salsa. Enjoy!

Next time I think I will add in some black beans, or even put some refried beans on the bottom or top.  I think that would make them the ultimate taco cup!

Notes: I made them a few hours before I knew we would eat. I covered them on put them in the fridge, and reheated them once we were ready to eat.  They tasted just like they did the first time out of the oven.  However, I wouldn't let them sit too long or over night, I think the wonton wrapper will get too soggy.  I also put the toppings off to the side, and let people add them if they wanted them.

the one in the right hand corner without lettuce & sour cream
is all mine!! I did put salsa on the ones I ate though!
I love the condiment server, I got that at my KC bridal shower!!
It's from Crate & Barrel, I believe.

Now I have some wonton wrappers left; what are your favorite things to make with them?  I wanna hear it!!!

{Grand}Fathers Day Tile

Now that the wedding is over, I have a little extra time to do some crafting that is non-wedding related, which excites me!  As you know, Father's Day is Sunday, and I am just in time to show my latest tile I made for a friend.  She found a smaller tile online with the perfect quote ("Some Of My Greatest Blessings Call Me Grandpa"), sent it to me, and asked me to make it for her Dad, which is Maycee's Grandpa.  Of course I told her I would make it, easy peasy!

The quote is the same, but the font is different.  I used a 12x12 tile from Home Depot, my cricut, black vinyl, and 2 cricut cartridges to complete this tile {Sophisticated & Inspired Heart}.  I think it turned out so cute, and it's also kind of masculine (not a whole lot of frill going on).  She loves it and can't wait to give it to her Dad {from Maycee}.
"some of my greatest" = Sophisticated
"blessings" = Inspired Heart
"call me grandpa" = Sophisticated

Bernie even made it into our little photo shoot! HA!
This would make the perfect gift not only for Fathers Day, but for Birthdays, Christmas, or even when you are just finding out you're preggers to let them know they are going to be a Grandpa!!  So are you doing anything special for your Hubby, Dad, Grandpa for Fathers Day?

Happy Fathers Day to my Dad, my Father In-Law, and all of our Grandpa's!!!

Matron of Honor!

Remember my friends Aimee & Ryan who got engaged last July??  Well they are in the middle of planning their wedding, and she asked ME to be her Matron Of Honor!  I'm totally excited and honored that she asked me!!  We've been friends for probably close to 7 years, and she seriously is one of my best friends.  She was a bridesmaid in our wedding, which I know I still need to post pictures but we are still waiting to get them back, and now I get to be a HUGE part of their special day.  I couldn't be happier for those 2, and I know without a doubt their wedding will be gorgeous!!  Anyways, just wanted to share the fun & exciting news!! :)

Garage Sale Time!

Sorry I haven't been around much this week, we've been getting ready for our BIG garage sale!!  Me and one of my friends are having one together, and man do we have A LOT of stuff to sell!  D and I are getting rid of the "old" so we can start using all of our new wedding/shower gifts.  I can't believe we have so much stuff...crazy!

Oh and we are selling our dining room table, which is not only where we eat, but where I put my makeup on in the mornings. Now what to do??  Guess the TV trays will have to work for now, until we find the perfect one of course!! :)  Wish us luck!  Have a great weekend, y'all!

yep, lots of stuff...including our Christmas Tree. I want a new one!
