*~Patriotic Tile~* {plus promo code!}

Yep...I created another tile!  And I really love this one; it's just in time for the 4th of July too...

I used my Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to cut out the stars in white, and I wanted them to be "thick", so I adjusted them accordingly.  I cut a piece of Navy vinyl that I purchased from Expressions Vinyl, and put it at the top, then I placed the stars on top.  I measured out the Red (also purchased from Expressions Vinyl) and White vinyl to make the stripes, and I knew the end stripes wouldn't be perfect (the tile wasn't a true 12"x12"), but that's ok, because I like it with a little imperfection!  It was a little hard placing the stripes evenly and lining them right up against each other, but I managed!  My OCD even kicked in a little bit while trying to get them placed, but I worked through it!


I just love her!! 

 

The stars are my favorite! :)
